Kenneth R. Guest
Kenneth R. Guest was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1965 and has practiced commercial and business law since that date. He is a frequent speaker on such topics as mechanic liens, the importance of credit applications, and creditors rights.
Ken is rated AV, which is the highest rating an attorney can receive in the Martindale-Hubbell rating system. Ken served on the Texas Republican State Committee for six years. He also served as Chairman or President of several Republican organizations.
Ken earned his Bachelors of Science degree from Washington University in Saint Louis, Missouri, and graduated with a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Southern Methodist University. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, and licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court, Northern District, U.S. Court of Appeals, 5th Circuit. He is also a member of the Commercial Law League of America, Creditor Rights Section.
Mark C. Snyder
Mark Snyder is experienced in commercial transactions, commercial litigation, trial and appellate law, as well as mediation. He is also experienced in handling not only commercial debt recovery, but consumer debt assistance as well.
Mark received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1983. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington. Mark is Certified as a Mediator through the University of Houston - White Dispute Resolution Institute. He is a Phi Delta Phi. Mark also served as the Municipal Prosecutor for the City of DeSoto, Texas. Mark has written numerous articles and conducted various speeches and seminars for companies and professional organizations such as Dun & Bradstreet, and The National Association of Credit Management. Topics include Commercial, Civil and Criminal Law, including Prosecution of Worthless Checks, Criminal Law and its Relation to Bad Debts, Usury in Texas, Credit Applications in Texas.
Kimberly A. Guest
Kimberly Guest is experienced in the area of Commercial Collections, Business Debt Recovery and commercial litigation.. She is in charge of creating and supervising the law firm's section of Justice Court claims for creditor's claims. Kim's vast experience in creating and filing petitions, discovery, extensive deposition and witness preparation allows her to easily work through business and commercial debt collection efforts. Kim has prepared for and appeared at over two hundred Justice Court trials, as well as negotiated over four hundred out of court settlements with Defendants. She is also proficient in mechanic's lien laws which includes notice letters, filing, and foreclosure actions. Her expertise also includes negotiation and preparing factoring agreements for clients, as well as redrafting credit applications, guarantees and contracts for bids. Kimberly has extensive real estate transaction experience, including tax exchanges and environmental concerns, and is knowledgeable with family law, including probate, wills, trusts, divorce and child custody.
Kimberly graduated with a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in Fort Worth, Texas. She also graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, where she was involved in the Delta Gamma sorority. Kimberly is a member of the National Association of Credit Management and the Commercial Law League of America. She authored an article entitled, "Ask Dr. Kim", which appeared in the National Association of Credit Management's monthly publication.
Glenn R. Snyder (Of Counsel)
Glenn serves as Of Counsel for Guest and Associates, PC law firm. Glenn's experience includes civil litigation (including debt collection and collection practices), employment law, business law (formation and contracts), family law, criminal law, health law matters (including health care providers liability and responsibility), compliance, and litigation with patients and attorneys. His General Corporate matters include employment law, real estate, assistance to employees, business formation and planning. Glenn's experience includes his election as Judge in the County Court at Law Number 2 in Dallas County, Texas, where his court had general civil jurisdiction and appellate jurisdiction over the Justice of the Peace and Small Claims Court. Glenn also served as the Municipal Prosecutor for the City of DeSoto, Texas. Glenn is also a Certified Commercial and Family Law Mediator.
Glenn received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech University and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is a Phi Delta Phi. He also served as an instructor at the University of Texas at Arlington where he taught classes on business law and real estate.
